The service

A11yRemedy crawls URLs you provide, tests pages against a subset of WCAG 2.2 AA criteria using automated checks, and produces a remediation report a person can implement: page URL, CSS selector, failing HTML, a suggested snippet, criterion, severity, and effort estimate.

Automated testing detects approximately 30–57% of WCAG issues. Manual testing by a qualified auditor is required for a complete conformance assessment.

What this product is not

A11yRemedy shows your developer exactly what to fix and how. It does not inject an overlay or toolbar into a live site. It does not write to your codebase, open pull requests, or apply runtime patches. Suggested snippets are for a human to review and commit.

A scan report is not a legal or audit opinion. Automated testing detects a subset of issues. Manual testing by a qualified auditor is required for a complete conformance assessment.

Your responsibilities

You must have the right to submit each URL for scanning, including any authentication cookies or form logins you store for authenticated crawls. You are responsible for implementing fixes in your own systems and for how you describe accessibility to your users and clients.

Do not use the service to attack, overload, or scan systems you are not allowed to test. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the crawler.

Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secret. Organisation owners are responsible for team members they invite and for API keys they create.

Quotes and paid work

A quote request is a request for a scoped human implementation estimate. It is not a purchase and it does not start work on a site until you accept a separate written quote.

Paid monitoring plans are billed through Stripe. Fees, limits, and cancellation are shown at checkout and in the billing portal.

Intellectual property

You retain rights in your sites, HTML, and logos. We retain rights in the A11yRemedy software, report templates, and documentation. Scan output is licensed to your organisation to remediate the tested pages.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted uptime. To the fullest extent permitted by law, A11yRemedy is provided as-is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make from a report.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
